Lambda Sci-Fi would like to invite you to join us for Gaylaxicon 2008, the annual international Science Fiction, Fantasy, and Horror convention for gay men, lesbians, bisexuals, transgendered people and their friends. Join us on October 10 - 13, 2008 for a weekend of fun. Events include an art show, autographs, a charity auction, costuming, dancing, the dealer's room, discussion panels, gaming, guests, local events, a masquerade, parties, readings, video programs, and much more!.

Lambda Sci-Fi recently celebrated its 16th birthday. From its inception, the club has been very active in the Washington area having fun, providing a community, and promoting Science Fiction, Fantasy and Horror within the fandom and the GLBT communities. Lambda Sci-Fi has previously sponsored Gaylaxicons in 1992 (with the Philadelphia Area Gaylaxians), 1994, 1999 and 2000. With the combined ConComm experience from running previous conventions, Gaylaxicon 2008 promises to be a great convention!
